The Company has presented us with a number of proposals, however the Negotiating Committee feels the proposals are insulting to the membership and a slap in the face to the Negotiating Committee. We feel our Negotiating Committee has shown a willingness to negotiate and find compromise on the issues the company is interested in addressing. While our proposals have been met with responses such as "The Company does not have a taste for this" or, having our proposals out right rejected and ignored.
These are some of the proposals brought forth by the company;
In exchange for these items The Company is offering raises for the next 3 years that would fall below standard cost of living raises.
Our Negotiating Committee continues to believe that our members deserve a fair and equitable contract and are willing to keep fighting for one.
